Paul Johannesson
Paul received his BSc in Mathematics, and his PhD in Computer Science from Stockholm University in 1983 and 1993, respectively. He holds a position as professor at the Royal Institute of Technology, where he works in the area of information systems. Paul's expertise lies in the area of federated information systems, translation between data models, languages for conceptual modelling, schema integration, the use of linguistic instruments in information systems, process integration, e-commerce systems design, and analysis patterns in systems design. Johannesson is head of the research laboratory SYSLAB at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University and the Royal Institute of Technology.
Petia Wohed
Petia received her BSc and PhD in Computer Science from Stockholm University in 1993 and 2000, respectively. After her graduation, Wohed visited Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia numerous times. At QUT she joined the research group of Prof. Arthur ter Hofstede. During these visits she came in contact with the Workflow Patterns framework and the YAWL system, both developed as a joint effort between the research groups of Prof. Arthur ter Hofstede and Prof. Wil van der Aalst from Eindhoven University of Technology (TUE). Her main interest since has been Business Process Management and Workflow systems.
