Acclario BPM is a spin-off from the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University and the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. We aim to guide businesses with the adoption of PAIS technology and its proper implementation. We have been involved in extensive research in the field of PAIS and can provide well-founded and impartial advice.

Acclario BPM has in-depth expertise in the acclaimed and widely adopted workflow patterns research. This research led to the development of Yet Another Workflow Language (YAWL), a rigorously defined workflow language based on insights from the field of concurrency theory, in particular Petri nets, as well as the workflow patterns. YAWL has an open source support environment which is aimed to be powerful, robust, easy to install, and easy to use. The environment is used in industry and offers unique features, including sophisticated approaches to design time analysis of workflows, dynamic workflow and exception handling.

Acclario BPM maintains close contact with the BPM Group of Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia and Eindhoven University of Technology in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. These two research groups themselves form the BPM Center, a virtual research centre at the forefront of research in the area of BPM. BPM center publishes its own series of technical reports reporting the latest findings in BPM-related research.

Acclario BPM closely collaborates with the YAWL Foundation, which is behind the development of YAWL. The YAWL Foundation operates from Australia and provides YAWL related consultancy services.
